  This is the worst mail service I have ever had. They have lost bills, my mortgage payment, not to mention the amount of mail that gets lost every time I put in a vacation stop They can't shut the lid to the mailbox, so when it rains all my mail gets wet. I don't know what the problem is, but I have tried to complain higher up and have gotten nowhere. I have just received my third shut off from the water company this year alone. This office is a poster child for the need to privatize USPS.

  I've never had problems with mail delivery like I have since moving to Washington. It's one problem after another. They leave my mailbox door hanging wide open, they used to walk right into my garage to deliver packages, and despite setting delivery instructions they just do want they want. One day when it was raining, they left it in my brick mailbox and left a note that it would get wet if they left it on my porch as I requested. Actually, everything gets ruined in the brick mailbox because it's not weather proof (the mailbox was here when we bought the house, not that it should matter). Today they left a package sitting outside next to my mailbox instead of driving up to my house and putting it on my porch. I have complained and all I get is a generic response that the guy in charge will handle the problem. Which probably means, he reads my complaint, throws it in the garbage or makes fun of me for complaining with the carriers. Read reviews for this post office on the yellow pages website, there are other complaints.
